2025
The 2025 Annual Membership Meeting took place in October 25, 2025 at 2 pm where all 5 director positions were up for election and the 2026 budget was ratified. That meeting will took place at the DAV on Palmer Park Blvd at Peterson Rd . The Annual Meeting mailer was emailed and mailed out on Friday, October 10th to all homeowners on file. There was not a quorum of the membership since there were only about 15 or the 40 homes represented at the meeting, therefore the existing board of directors remained in place and the approved 2026 Budget was auto-ratified and there was no increase in homeowner assessments (yearly dues).

- Crime in adjacent neighborhoods is on the rise (especially in construction areas in the new neighborhoods across Constitution Ave. Now with construction taking place just outside our neighborhood (to the north), it is almost assured that criminals will try to bring their crime into our neighborhood.
Each year, teens and young adults go around to neighborhoods all over to check car doors and see what they can steal from inside unsecured vehicles. Some people leave their firearms and sometime even their keys or key fobs inside their cars and this just contributes to future crimes when thieves hit.
- License plate readers were installed at both of our entrances for both inbound and outbound lanes (including camera signs) to help deter and also to help solve some of these crimes.
- Join our SAS team to contribute ideas and held decide which new ways the HOA will increase security for our residents and property.
- Email the board president at President@FeathergrassHOA.org to join the team and we will include you in email updates.
- Our homeowners have a vested interest in the development and upkeep of our park as well as the landscaping along Hannah Ridge and Palmer Park Blvd, at our two entrances into the neighborhood. We welcome any interested homeowners to be part of the planning process by joining the Landscaping and Park Planning Team.

- There have been plenty of homeowner complaints about street parking as well as rude drivers (many of which do not live in our neighborhood) nearly hitting kids crossing the road, stop sign runners, loud cars, and speeding drivers. If you would like to be part of the solution and bring ideas to the table, then please join the team. We will work closely with the El Paso County Sheriff Traffic team to develop solutions and hold bad drivers accountable
